The Start Here channel said to introduce myself, so here I am. I have been mixing for 23 years now but am excited to join this community to see what I can learn and lend my experience where I can. I did PRN work for a company in Indy for several year but my main gig has been as the Technology Director for Community Church of Greenwood. By the nature of my job, I have experience in audio, video and lighting but my true love has always been audio.

Welcome Clayton! Great to have you. Can we see a photo of the sound system at Greenwood?
What's top of your list for improvement at Greenwood? Or, is there anything that people complain about?
PRN = production?

In the photo you will see that we have an unique setup. The room is so wide that we have a distributed stereo system. The main left and right are Danley SH69's and the middle fills are Danley SH60's. If you sit in the middle of the room you get your stereo image from the main left and main right but if you sit towards one of the sides you get your stereo image from the nearest main and nearest fill. I have never seen this setup anywhere else but it works great. The subs are Danley TH412's. I wish we could fly them to get more even coverage but the roof structure is not strong enough. Top of my list for improvements would be to add a Klang Fabrik for our IEM's.
PRN is a Latin acronym. It basically means that I was an as-needed employee. It was great because I got paid more per hour than a full-time tech and I could accept or decline gigs at will.
