AI Needs to Study Up

The browser I use just released an AI assistant that is hosted by them, developed and the API is through Meta. I've had it open on a third monitor for random questions and it seems to be fine. Today I decided to test it. It got the question about the period of a 1kHz sine wave correct but botched the frequency and wavelength calculations. Not sure how this could be since the algebra is so simple, kind of an interesting result though.

Oh, cool! Yeah, I'd say that's the biggest risk with AI. It seems like the single source of truth and always confident. Compare this to putting the same question into just a google search where you see that there are many responses.
I have seen a couple of services that will submit your question to several different AI models so that you can compare them all at once.
Yesterday I was wondering when Bob's book and others will be added to ChatGPT and we'll be able to ask related question to it. I know where are/were some legal battles about AI using copyrighted resources, though.

Yes looks like the AI came up with the wavelength as exactly half what it actually is

Sound propagation is 344m per second - indeed depends on temperature, air pressure, moisture level, …
So, 1 Hz has a wavelength of 344 meter.

AI? Makes no sense. More people will believe they know it all without the understanding of the physical laws.
